இந்த பகுதியில் அம்பாளின் சில எளிமையான நாமங்களை கற்போம். எளிமையாக இருந்தாலும் அவை ஆழமான கருத்துக்கள் கொண்டவை. அவள் நிஷ்காரணா - எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் முதன்மையாகவும் மூல காரணமாகவும் இருப்பதால் அவளது இருப்புக்கு காரணம் தேவையற்றது அவள் நிரூபாதி = வரையறையற்றவள் - எல்லையற்று எல்லாமாகவும் விளங்குபவள். உபாதி என்றால் Limitation / constraints. ஜீவன் காலம், தூரம் போன்ற பல உபாதிளால் கட்டுப்படுத்தப்பட்டு இருக்கிறான். ஏனென்றால் ஜீவர்கள் ஒரு உடலுக்குள் மட்டுமே வியாபித்து இருக்க முடியும். அந்த உடல் இருக்கும் இடத்தைத் தவிர மற்ற இடத்தில் இருக்க முடியாது. இந்த உபாதி தேச பரிச்சின்னம் எனப்படும். எல்லா இடத்திலும் ஒரே நேரத்தில் நீக்கமற நிறைந்திருக்கும் வியாபகத் தன்மை சைதன்ய ரூபிணியான அம்பாளுக்கு மட்டுமே உண்டு.


இதே போல் மற்ற நாமங்களை சிந்தித்து ஆராய்ந்து புரிந்து கொள்வோமாக.

भवानी भावनागम्या भवारण्य-कुठारिका ।


भद्रप्रिया भद्रमूर्तिर् भक्त-सौभाग्यदायिनी ॥ ४१॥

भक्तिप्रिया भक्तिगम्या भक्तिवश्या भयापहा ।


शाम्भवी शारदाराध्या शर्वाणी शर्मदायिनी ॥ ४२॥


शाङ्करी श्रीकरी साध्वी शरच्चन्द्र-निभानना ।


शातोदरी शान्तिमती निराधारा निरञ्जना ॥ ४३॥


निर्लेपा निर्मला नित्या निराकारा निराकुला ।


निर्गुणा निष्कला शान्ता निष्कामा निरुपप्लवा ॥ ४४॥


नित्यमुक्ता निर्विकारा निष्प्रपञ्चा निराश्रया ।


नित्यशुद्धा नित्यबुद्धा निरवद्या निरन्तरा ॥ ४५॥


निष्कारणा निष्कलङ्का निरुपाधिर् निरीश्वरा ।


नीरागा रागमथनी निर्मदा मदनाशिनी ॥ ४६॥


निश्चिन्ता निरहंकारा निर्मोहा मोहनाशिनी ।


निर्ममा ममताहन्त्री निष्पापा पापनाशिनी ॥ ४७॥


निष्क्रोधा क्रोधशमनी निर्लोभा लोभनाशिनी ।


निःसंशया संशयघ्नी निर्भवा भवनाशिनी ॥ ४८॥ or निस्संशया


निर्विकल्पा निराबाधा निर्भेदा भेदनाशिनी ।


निर्नाशा मृत्युमथनी निष्क्रिया निष्परिग्रहा ॥ ४९॥


निस्तुला नीलचिकुरा निरपाया निरत्यया ।


दुर्लभा दुर्गमा दुर्गा दुःखहन्त्री सुखप्रदा ॥ ५०॥


Meaning

Bhavani

भवानी is the shakti of भव (शिव is भव) which means one who exists, as well as that which enable existence.

Bhavanagamya

She who can be known by mental process of Her awareness ( inner worship like mantra chanting, purification of mind through meditation on the meaning of mantra)

Bhavaranya kutharika

Who is verily like an axe for clearing the jungle of Samsara

Bhadrapriya

Who is fond of everything auspicious

Bhadramurtih

Who is the embodiment of auspiciousness

Bhakta saubhagya dayini

Who grants all-round advancement to devotees, both in the spiritual and the material fields

Bhaktipriya

Who is fond of true devotion

Bhaktigamya

She Who Is Attained Only Through Devotion

Who is endless or is indestructible; அத்யயா என்ற சொல்லுக்கு "இறுதி - விளிம்பு" என்றும் பொருள் உண்டு, அதனால் நிரத்யயா என்ற நாமத்தை வரையரையற்று நிரம்பியிருப்பவள் என்று நிர்குண உபாசனையாக பொருள் கொள்ளப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.
