माणिक्य-मुकुटाकार-जानुद्वय-विराजिता ॥ १७॥
इन्द्रगोप-परिक्षिप्त-स्मरतूणाभ-जङ्घिका ।
गूढगुल्फा कूर्मपृष्ठ-जयिष्णु-प्रपदान्विता ॥ १८॥
नख-दीधिति-संछन्न-नमज्जन-तमोगुणा ।
पदद्वय-प्रभाजाल-पराकृत-सरोरुहा ॥ १९॥

Nijasallapa madhurya vinirbhartsita kachhapi | Her speech is more melodious than Sarasvati Devi's ‘Kachhapi’ Veena. |
Mandasmita prabhapura majjatkamesha manasa | The radiance of Her smile floods the mind of Kamesvara, Her consort |
Anakalita sadrushya chubukashri virajita | Her chin is peerless in beauty. Chubuka/ chibuka=chin |
Kamesha baddhamangalya sutra shobhita kandhara | Her neck is adorned with the mangalya sutra tied by Kameshawarar. |
Kanakangada-keyura-kamaniya-bhujanvita
| Her beautiful arms are covered with gold ornaments called angada and keyura (bracelets). |
Ratnagraiveya chintaka lolamukta phalanvita | Who wears a gem – set necklace having a big pearl as a pendant |
Kameshvara premaratna manipratipana stani | Her breasts are the price she pays to Her Consort (Mahesvara) in return for the gem of love He bestows on Her |
Nabhayalavala romali lataphala kuchadvayi | Her breasts look like fruits on the creeper of the hairline spreading upwards from the navel |
Lakshyaroma latadharata samunneya madhyama | Her waist is so slender that it appears as a base for the creeper of fine hair springing from her navel upwards. |
Stanabhara dalanmadhya pattabandha valitraya | The golden belt that she wears supports her waist and her waist bends under the heaviness of her bosoms, resulting in three folds in her stomach area. Heaviness of the bosoms indicate Devi’s compassion to the universe and the folds on her stomach indicate the three activities – creation, sustenance and dissolution. |

Nakadhi dhithi samchanna namajjana thamoguna | Her toenails give out such a radiance that all the darkness of ignorance is dispelled completely from those devotees who prostrate at Her feet. |
Pada dwaya Prabha jala parakrutha saroruha | Her feet defeat lotus flowers in radiance |
Sinchana mani manjira manditha sri pamambuja | Her auspicious lotus feet are adorned with gem-studded golden anklets that tinkle sweetly |
Marali Mandha Gamana | Her gait is as slow and gentle as that of a swan |
